“My passion…”
Hi, my name is Angie Pritchard, owner of The Painted Home. Design and painting is my passion; it all started when I was very young. I always knew that I wanted a career within the creative art world. After graduating with my degree in Interior Design and Art, I spent some time studying abroad to become a certified Master Painter. After graduation, I worked in the field for five years, then went out on my own. In the past 37 years, I’ve acquired a lot of experience and knowledge doing what I love. My work has been featured in magazines, catalogs, and homes around the St. Louis area.

Fast forward to July 2013. That’s when I officially opened the doors to The Painted Home. It’s been almost a 10 year whirlwind and we've aready expanded after the fifth year. What started as a 2100 square foot shop, has grown into a beautiful, inspirational showroom of nearly 5700 square feet. In addition to our Interior Design services, we’ve added a DIY-Studio for our customers to play in. We offer workshops, classes, and opportunities to host private parties of groups from 5-15people. Don’t have that many in your group or have way more? Not a problem, we can always come up with an answer.
“Making People Happy…”
For me, design is really about one thing: making people happy and excited about their interiors. I love seeing the joy in my clients’ eyes when their dream interiors become a reality, and when we find that perfect piece to make the look complete!
I couldn’t do any of this without a team, of course. I have a wonderful crew in and outside of our showroom. They consist of Tina, my beloved sister and design assistant; Matt “Mondo”, man servant and husband; Melissa, graphic designer; Linda, our newest addition for creative shop assistant; Andrea, interior painter; Linda, our upholsterer, and our many handy men who are always busy but always find time for my clients.
